🎮 My First Impression

The Redragon S101M-KS’s design instantly caught my eye due to its gaming-centric nature. The RGB lighting adds a contemporary gaming look to the wireless keyboard, and the wireless system can minimize the clutter of wires.I say, I personally like a clean games setup. With too many cables cluttering up the desk, anything can become untidy.

Wireless keyboard and mouse set can come in handy there.

Redragon refers to the S101M-KS as a “tri-mode” gaming keyboard that features RGB features.

⌨️ Redragon S101M-KS Wireless Keyboard

The S101M-KS is not just an ordinary office keyboard, but a whole gaming bundle.

The key features are:

⌨️ Gaming keyboard
🖱️ Gaming mouse
🌈 RGB lighting
📡 Tri-mode connectivity
🎛️ 10 independent multimedia keys
Up to 4800 DPI mouse sensitivity.A mouse with up to 4800 DPI sensitivity.

If you are creating a gaming PC setup, it may be easier to find an all-in-one wireless keyboard and mouse.

📡 Tri-Mode Connectivity

One of the aspects that I find interesting is that it has three modes of connection.

A tri-mode wireless keyboard provides you with more than one connection option, instead of going with only one. Can be helpful if you desire greater flexibility in your computer’s use.

At other times, I want a totally wireless workstation. At other times, a wired connection may be more convenient.

Multiple connection options allow for greater flexibility.

Not all connections modes and compatibility, though, and I highly recommend checking those details before purchase, particularly if the device is intended to be used with a specific gaming device.

🌈 RGB Gaming Keyboard

Just to be honest, RGB lighting is not going to improve your gameplay. It certainly adds to the aesthetics of a gaming desk! The RGB design provides this wireless keyboard with the gaming atmosphere many desktop gamers are looking for. If the mouse is RGB, the headset is RGB or the gaming PC case is RGB, the keyboard will fit in perfectly.

I personally prefer RGB lighting just because it can make your gaming session at night more enjoyable without having to add any other lights to it.

🖱️ 4800 DPI Gaming Mouse

Another essential feature of this kit is the gaming mouse included. The mouse will measure up to 4800 DPI. DPI can impact the distance your cursor traverses while you move the mouse, which is why it may be beneficial for various computer uses and games.

You can set different sensitivity for different kinds of games, for instance, higher for games with higher speeds and normal for normal browsing. That’s why I have the vision of a wireless keyboard and mouse combination.

Remember, higher DPI is not necessarily a better mouse. DPI is just one aspect of the overall gaming mouse experience.

🎵 10 Independent Multimedia Keys

The 10 independent multimedia keys are another handy feature.I believe it is a convenient control that can be handy when playing games while listening to music.Looking to change the volume? Skip a track? Have complete control over media without taking your hands off your keyboard? Those tasks can be accomplished much faster with dedicated controls.

Whether you are watching videos, listening to music or using the computer at your desk, they can help.

I like this combo because of the following reasons:

There is a number of things that have sticks out to me:

1. Complete set-up: This includes a mouse and keyboard.
2. Tri-mode connectivity – greater flexibility than single connection mode.
3. RGB lighting – Provides a really huge gaming look.
4. 4800 DPI mouse – Adjustable mouse sensitivity.
5. Multimedia controls – 10 dedicated keys are convenient.
6. Clutter free desk – Wireless peripherals can help tidy up the mess.
7. Matching design – keyboard and mouse are designed to work together as a matching set.

Before purchasing, please keep these in mind:

I wouldn’t select this wireless keyboard and mouse just because of its RGB.

Comfort, keyboard layout, connectivity and typing feel are also important if you spend a lot of time at your computer.

I would also check the exact specifications before ordering. For hardcore gamers, advanced customization, latency, polling rate, and certain switch types are all features to consider when selecting a specialized keyboard and mouse.

Therefore, consider your actual computer usage before deciding.
